Nothing. Absolutely Nothing. There is no out of pocket expense or cost for the promotion. We invest all the money necessary to start and run the marketing campaign, over $10,000.00. IFP gets paid solely on the money we generate through the membership sales we generate. This means if we do not raise any money, we do not get paid. THERE IS NO FINANCAIL RISK TO THE CLUB.
We generate traffic into your health club through a large variety of means including highly targeted direct mail pieces, radio advertisements, telemarketing, corporate membership programs, television advertising, lead boxes, program, outside prospecting, and much more. We do not stick with only one form of advertising like many of the health club marketing companies out there, instead we try many different forms of advertising that we base on each particular gym’s situation and market. If you keep the same old strategy, you can expect the same old results. This is why we are continually Innovating and Reinventing the way we conduct our marketing campaigns to give the health clubs out there the best result possible.
It is easy to sell a low priced $99.00 a year or cash membership to perspective customer. NO, WE DO NOT DO THIS. IFP specializes in selling fair priced EFT memberships to clients. We focus on building rapport with the potential members and focusing on the benefits that will be seen from using the club, instead of focusing on low price to get members into your club. We do not discount prices, and sometimes we even raise your health clubs price. Building your clubs draft line is the key to this business. The stability and consistent income created by a guaranteed draft line for the next two years can help with improving your health club and covering your over head.
We will. All the traffic that comes in as result of the marketing campaign will be handled by the staff of IFP. We will send in a highly professional sales team of a supervisor and sales person. They will tour and sell all the prospective members who come into club, focusing on the benefits of the gym not the price. This is how we generate EFT members, not low priced “cash” members.
They continue to stay your members and potential members. We do not sell to your walk-ins or current members. Many health club marketing companies want to sell or add time onto your current members as well as all the new traffic that comes into your club. The whole time our marketing campaign is going on, your business continues as normal. You need to keep your income coming in while our program is conducted, we understand that. We want to help your business, not hurt it. Our very strategic health club marketing campaigns generate between 40-200 new member a week from the “couch potato” market; this means our sales staff does not need to sell your members. If do not have a part in creating the traffic or membership, we do not want the sale. We do not sell your walk-ins or renewals.

After a typical Innovative Fitness Promotion your club can expect to see a dramatic increase in your add-ons, referrals, upgrades, supplement sales, and overall membership sales. Many club owners worry that after a full scale health club marketing campaign their market will be “dead”. This is not the case. Remember marketing is a “moment in time”, and does not affect any market long term. We actually promote most places once to twice a year, seeing the same effect each time we conduct a promotion. Because of the buzz that gets created within the community by our marketing campaigns, most gyms experience their best months for membership sales and profit after our program is finished. We will also give you some great ideas you can use to capitalize on all the new members and name recognition within your area. We want to make sure your club keeps the momentum going forward for a long time to come.
No, IFP does not do this. We do not believe in capitalizing on desperate clubs or taking advantage of a club looking for help by charging “promotional fees”, “office costs”, or "registration" fees just because we are conducting a promotion or sign a member up. We only get paid on the memberships we generate and for the work we do. We do not charge fees and costs just because we can or too “milk” a promotion and take advantage of a situation.
If we do not generate enough money through our promotion to pay the expenses, it still costs your health club nothing. There is no risk or financial expense for a health club to conduct an IFP promotion, whether we generate members or do not.
Once a health club decides to conduct an IFP marketing campaign;
1) We finalize our plan for marketing your health club based upon your market and demographics. We invest the money necessary to start the campaign including the direct mail, radio advertising, and newspaper adds, to give your health club the best option for success. Remember, you there is no out-of pocket expense or financial risk to you.
2) A Promotional supervisor and sales person will come to the campaign location ahead of time to hire any local telemarketers necessary, place necessary advertising, set out lead boxes, and begin the corporate programs. We set up a sales office within your health club to conduct all the membership sales during the marketing campaign. They will conduct all sales for the marketing campaign and help your gym in anyway they can during the promotion.
3) We open a joint signature bank account for the promotional funds generated. You will be provided with daily and weekly accountability during the whole campaign.
4) THE PROMOTION BEGINS! Your business continues, and for the next six to ten weeks you will see our promotion generate between 200-1500 new members and $4,000 - $15,000.00 in new EFT’s monthly.
5) If at any time during the health club marketing campaign you are unhappy, let us know, we will leave. We are so confident in our services that this is our policy.
6) You will be provided with a copy of all memberships sold, a weekly production overview, receipts, and complete financials for the promotion. We will also work with you and your staff on sales, prospecting, and retention while we are at the health club. When the campaign is finished, we will leave you leads and follow ups to work once we leave. Many health clubs experience their most profitable months once our marketing programs are over.
8) A third party billing company handles all the EFT’s generated during the promotion. They will disperse all the funds from the EFT’s generated from the promotion on a weekly basis.
